The Slide Inn is located on the banks of the Madison River, one of the most famous blue-ribbon trout streams in the world. Located on 1,100 feet of river frontage, Slide Inn provides anglers with access to some of the finest fly-fishing in Montana. During the beautiful days of Spring and Summer, you can literally step out of your cabin and catch some of the largest rainbow and brown trout that in the Madison. You can also get valuable fly fishing instruction from the best fly fishing guides on the river. You can find all the flies and gear you need right at the Slide Inn fly shop. In fact, The Slide Inn has one of the finest fly selections in the area.

The log cabin duplex is the biggest of all the cabins. Number 1 has a queen bed downstairs, two singles in the loft, a bathroom, full kitchen and, of course, a porch overlooking the river. Number 2 has a queen bed downstairs and two singles in the loft, a bathroom, full kitchen, and a porch on the river. These units are perfect for the family or a larger group who needs a little more space. They are only rented by the week from June 15th through September 15th.

These are newly remodeled cabins with queen and full size beds, and a full kitchen. Cabins 1-4 also feature porches overlooking the Madison River. Cabins 5 and 6 are set up for single anglers or a couple. They both feature a full bed and a private bath. They also feature a microwave, mini-fridge, and a coffee maker. Cabins 7 and 8 both have two full size beds and large private baths, in addition to a full size kitchen.

Food and Beverages

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the Campfire Inn Riverside Cafe. All meals are prepared fresh daily with the best ingredients available. They offer generous portions and friendly service. Dine while enjoying the beautiful view of the fabled Madison River and the Gallatin National Forest. For dinners the Grizzly Bar offers a great menu including hamburgers, steaks, and chicken. The wood-filled interior is “Montana rustic” and gives a touch of pleasant western authenticity to your visit.

Float fishing on area rivers is done via McKenzie-style drift boats designed for fly fishing.

How To Get There

The nearest commercial airport is the Yellowstone Airport in West Yellowstone, Montana. Galloup's Slide Inn is approximately 30 minutes from the airport in West Yellowstone. Guests may also choose to fly into Bozeman. Slide Inn is a one hour and forty-five minute drive from Bozeman.
