2 days of guided fishing on private water on the Yampa River

 

March is one of the best times of year to fly fish in the Yampa Valley, the crowds are light and the wild rainbows are starting to spawn!  We are going to do one day through Bucking Rainbow Outfitters in Steamboat Springs in order to access the private tail water below Lake Catamount, on the second day we are going to fish the Rocky Mountain Angling Club property a little further downstream.  The fish are fat this time of year and shots at fish in the 22-26" class are not uncommon.  We have not decided an exact date yet, but we are looking to take 4 people on the weekend of March 19 and 20, or the weekend of March 26 and 27.  4 people is the preferred number but we would be willing to just take 2 anglers for the weekend if that is the case.
