Colorado Environmental Film Festival

The Colorado Environmental Film Festival (CEFF) is an exciting, inspiring, and energizing event that includes world-class environmental films with representatives from local and national organizations. CEFF will screen features, shorts, films by foreign and local filmmakers and films by young filmmakers and for youth.

True to the spirit of Colorado, this event is supported and attended by people who value the natural world and share a passion for the power and beauty of film.

The event is held at the American Mountaineering Center –
710 10th Street – Golden, Colorado.

There will be several fly fishing oriented films in the festival as well.  They will be shown Friday at 10am.

Thursday 2/23

  • 7:00-9:30pm – FREE Community Night – Join us for our Opening Night Film Screening hosted by Emcee John Fielder and the announcement of our 2017 award winning films

Friday 2/24

  • 10:00am-1:30pm – CEFF for Kids
    • 10:00-12:30 – Free Youth Friendly Film Screening for students (pre-registration here for large groups is required) and families
    • 12:30-1:30 – School group tour of Eco-Expo and Lunch
  • 12:00-7:30pm – Eco-Expo open to the public (free)
  • Film Screenings in two theaters
    • 10:00am-12:00pm (Special Fishing Film segment in CEFF Theater)

  • Environmental Photography Exhibition
    • 5:30-7:15pm – Opening reception
