In July of this year I was trapped into babysitting my 12 month old Granddaughter. To make the time productive I took her playpen to my fly tying area. I had a few odds and ends on the table so I began working on a new pattern that I ultimately dubbed the Ivahroo (her name is Ivah). After a bit of field testing I made a couple of changes in materials to speed up the tying process and make the fly more durable. The finished version produces excellent results in every stream I have tried it.

For readers that requested recipes in the August newsletter, I’ll send this to their attention. If you would like the Ivahroo recipie – click here to send me an email request
