Report Summary

Faster water through the canyon on six but decent water clarity. Better the closer you get to Idaho Springs and excellent past Idaho Springs.  Water is a bit stained throughout but still very fishable.

This could change rapidly as melt begins and Clear Creek rises. Anglers will be the most productive with a heavier two fly nymph rig to get down to the fish.

Nymphs: Prince Nymph, Copper John-(red, green), BH Pheasant Tail, Girlde Bug, trailed by olive or black Tailwater Tiny, olive Juju Midge, Juju Baetis, Tung Redemption BWO
