Tying Instruction: |

Slide bead onto hookshank. |
|
2
|
Wrap threadbase so the bead will not slide on the hookshank.
Whip finish and cut off thread. |

3
|
Optional, apply Super glue to the threads for the bead
and slide bead to behind hook eye. |
|
4
|
Attach the thread and wrap a threadbase to above the
hook point. |
|
5
|
Tie in the tail material above the hook barb. Tail length
equals 1/2 hookshank length. Overwrap to above the hook barb. Return
the thread to 3 eye lengths behind the bead. |

|
Tie in the body materials on each side of the hookshank.
Overwrap to tail tie in area. |
|
7
|
Tie in the optional pearl tinsel and wrap an under body
to behind bead and return. Tie in and cut off excess. |
|
8
|
Using the hook weave method and weave the body to appx
3 eye lengths behind bead.Note: See the Fly Anglers On Line website
(www.flyanglersonline.com) for more detailed instructions on doing
the Hook Weave. |

|
Bring thread forward under the hookshank and start threadbase
2 eye lengths behind the bead. |

|
Tie in the wingcase material and overwrap to the rear
area of the thorax. |

|
Tie in the leg material on top of the body. |
|
12
|
Dub a thick thorax to 2 eye lengths behind the bead. |
|
13
|
Palmer wrap the leg hackle between the thorax material
wraps to 2 eye lengths behind bead. Tie in and cut off excess. |
|
14
|
Trim the leg hackle flat on the top of the body. |
|
15
|
Pull the wingcase material to appx 3 eye
lengths behind bead. Tie in and cut off excess. |
|
16
|
Whip finish so that the whip-finish disappears into
the bead recess. |
