Grey Reef, Wyoming
March 22-23, 2008
Join Front Range Anglers on a guided trip to the Grey Reef
section of the North Platte.

The North Platte River in southern Wyoming is a spectacular fishery. The North Platte enters Wyoming from Colorado to the south, and takes a northerly course as far as Casper before turning east, where it supplies water to the farmlands of eastern Wyoming and Nebraska. Three different stretches of river totaling nearly 100 miles have been rated a Blue Ribbon fishery.

We'll be staying at the N. Platte Lodge in Alcova, WY, which is the original, and still the only lodge located on the upper Grey Reef section of the North Platte River. They have leased 21 miles of river bank exclusively for guests' fishing access year-round.

The trip is beginner friendly, with fantastic professional guides. Last year fish counts were between 45-70 fish landed per boat, with a number of quality fish over 22" landed.

This trip will include:

  • Full day guide trip on Sunday provided by North Platte Lodge/The Reef Fly Shop
  • Saturday night lodging
  • Breakfast and lunch on Sunday
  • Flies

Trip cost: $280, based on double occupancy. Gratuity not included.
