Gunnison River Expeditions

Through an exclusive partnership with Gunnison River Expeditions, Front Range Anglers' customers now have access to one of the most exciting areas of Colorado, the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. This Gold Medal water is famous for world class rainbow and brown trout fishing, an epic spring Salmonfly hatch, abundant year round insect hatches, and magnificent scenery.

After a day in the gorge we promise your arms will be tired, not from rowing (luckily the experienced guides take care of that), but from fighting one hard pulling fish after another. Be prepared to float multiple times before you notice the wildlife, including big horn sheep, mule deer, and eagles, as your eyes will always be fixed on your dry fly, waiting for the next fish to hammer it.

You will be able to work directly with FRA staff to plan and book your trip and we'll ensure that you'll be outfitted with premiere equipment that won't let you down when the hatch is on!
