Front Range Anglers is pleased to continue our popular women's program in 2014. Designed specifically and exclusively for the female angler, the program provides a non-intimidating, educational and supportive environment for women to learn about fly fishing.
The goal of the program is to increase the depth and breadth of the women's angling community in the Boulder/Denver metro area. If you haven't discovered fly fishing yet, hopefully our events will encourage and interest you enough that you will want to give it a try. If you currently do enjoy fly fishing, perhaps you will learn something new, find other women to fish with, or share your opinions and experiences with others. Think of it as a kind of "Meetup" environment for women in fly fishing.
Through our free programs and events, we will provide awareness, woman-specific product recommendations, community and plenty of fun! We have many events and presentations in the works for this program, so check back here often to see what's up and coming! All events are at the shop unless noted otherwise.

We are very honored to be hosting conservation luminary Sharon Lance this coming Thursday, Feb. 20th for the next installment in our women-only series.
Sharon's presentation will take you on a journey to discover the beauty of fly fishing, from the colorful art in trout themselves to the spectacular surroundings where they live. Through compelling photography, you will discover fly fishing opportunities in our own backyard and the greater Rocky Mountain West. Sharon will convince you that fly fishing is a wonderful outdoor pastime for women; where grace, not strength, brings pleasure and success.
Sharon’s passion for fly fishing is only eclipsed by her dedication to conservation of cold water fisheries and watershed habitat through her work in Trout Unlimited (TU). Over the last 20 years she has held various positions in TU including president of the Cutthroat Chapter and president of the Colorado TU State Council. She served 8 years on the National TU Board of Trustees.
Sharon somehow manages to find time for frequent fly fishing adventures with her husband, Mark, whose beautiful photography will be featured in her presentation.
