About the Fund

Beyond an amazing night of epic cinematography and gratuitous worldwide fly fishing porn, November 8th will also be a much needed conservation event for front range fisheries. Front Range Anglers, in conjunction with The Greenbacks and TU have created a relief fund called "Restore the 'Range." This fund, managed by TU, will be used for special clean-up and restoration projects for front range watersheds affected by the historic flooding in September of 2013. As more and more access is restored into the areas hit hardest by the flood, assessments will be made for which watersheds need the most habitat restoration and clean-up. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the event will benefit the "Restore the 'Range" fund.

In addition to monies directly raised through the event, FRA will also be donating 10% of revenue from all Boulder Creek guide trips between now and November 8th to the fund. The fall is a great time to be on the Creek, and it has already shown its resiliency and is fishing very well! So book your trip today to help contribute! All ticket sales are tax deductible too!

The two partners of Confluence Films, Chris Patterson (below left) and Jim Klug (below right), have at least 40 years of experience each in their respective roles for Waypoints—writing, directing, filming, editing, producing, planning travel and arranging logistics. For this film they strived to get even farther off the grid, finding the most remote places and most interesting people. More information about the film can be found at the Confluence Films website.
