Well, I think the proper thing to say here is that a picture is worth a thousand words… This is the SNOTEL snowpack report from 6/13 listing the FRA home water at 142% of average snowpack remaining. This continues to be excellent news for our Front Range fishing conditions. Although a lengthy run-off is expected on some of our major water sheds ( Boulder/South Boulder Creek ), we are expecting healthy hatches and happy trout throughout the entire summer.
This is also a great time to enjoy some of the best still water trout fisheries that the Front Range has to offer during what is expected to be an extended run-off. Whether it’s belly boats or fly lines specific to Loch Style fly fishing, FRA can help you find fish until these rivers calm down. Stop by the shop and see the 2013 line of Outcast Boats. We’ll see you soon.
