Covid-19 for FRA Travelers

We at Front Range Anglers are monitoring the situation closely and are taking it very seriously.  At this time there are a number of countries welcoming U.S. travelers: Belize, Mexico, Bahamas to name a few which we are actively BOOKING. We are working very closely with our lodge partners in various countries including the U.S. to stay connected on reopening dates for 2021.

Update on International Travel Fly Fishing Trips from your FRA Adventure Travel Team…Effective December 6th, 2021 anyone entering the United States is required:

* Get tested for COVID-19 no more than 1 day before departing to the United States and show a negative test result to the airline before boarding.

* Show documentation of recent recovery from COVID-19 to the airline before boarding.
This new order applies to all air passengers including U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents aged 2 years and older. It also applies regardless of the length of time spent outside of the United States.

Acceptable documentation of recovery from COVID-19 includes both a positive viral test result within 3 months of travel (or the time period specified in current CDC guidance) AND a letter from a healthcare provider or public health official stating that the passenger is cleared to end isolation.
Passengers who have tested positive for COVID-19 will need to delay their travel until they meet the criteria to end isolation.
We realize this new guideline will prompt questions based on your desired destination to travel so please reach out to us directly with your questions as we are working very closely with all of our lodge partners as the testing protocols are unique to each and every lodge. A number of lodges are diligently working to have testing available on site or at a nearby dedicated location.

From our partners at Global Rescue: In an attempt to control the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak, several countries including the U.S. are enforcing a mandatory 14-Day quarantine for travelers who may have been exposed to the virus.  The Global Rescue intelligence team monitors the outbreak closely and provides a daily report that includes precautions and efforts by various countries to control the spread of the virus within their borders.

We strongly encourage every traveling angler to reference the World Health Organization to stay current on traveling conditions in various countries regarding Covid-19 (W.H.O.)- https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019

In addition to Centers for Disease Control (C.D.C.)- https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/index.html information for US Citizens with traveler updates for Domestic and International. The CDC has advised Americans to cancel all travel to China.

  • As of 10-6-2020- The only Front Range Anglers Adventure Travel  destinations which remain closed for either US or all travel are Christmas Island, Iceland, New Zealand, Australia, Cuba, Russia, British Columbia and a few lodges in Alaska.
