INFORMATION
Louisiana is open and fishing!
The Louisiana Gulf Coast has the best estuaries and marsh structure in the entire world. This is why the state’s motto is the Sportsman Paradise. Whether we are fishing large open bays that are covered in oyster reefs, fishing the back marsh, or duck ponds there is no other place like the inshore fishing grounds of Louisiana.
Louisiana Redfishing is great year around. From October to February in Louisiana redfishing means monster redfish in the 20 to 40 pound range. In late fall, schools of redfish show up by the thousands in the mazes of lagoons, bays and bayous that make up the Louisiana coast, fattening up for the winter months. Allow our NOLA team of expert, licensed captains introduce you to this region’s incredible fishing for monster redfish and black drum. You’ll fish from modern skiffs. We only sight fish – no blind casting. And to top it off, the marsh areas that we fish are true wilderness areas, where you rarely see another boat, much less another fisherman!

The amazing Redfish will be our primary target. Depending on the water conditions and time of year Reds will range from 5lbs to 40lbs.
While looking for Reds, we will keep an eye out for Jack Crevalle, Black Drum, Sheepshead and Alligator Gar.
Your day will be spent poling the shallow waters of the seemingly endless marsh and open waters of the Gulf. Weather permitting, sight casting with either fly rod or light spinning gear is our preferred method.
Redfish can be caught in numbers every month of the year.
