“Mostly caught on a Hippie Stomper and Frenchie trailed. Fishing was good.  It has been great this whole week!!. Water level for Castle Rock is perfect. Not as many crowds as I expected either.  Other good nymphs include pheasant tails, brush hogs, and tailwater tiny’s in sz 18.  Cloud cover can produce good single dry fly fishing Adam’s and other smallish mayfly patterns.” ~ Wallace

Adam Guide Trip“Well Boulder Creek is definately still producing some great fish and they are very eager to eat. We used a dry dropper with a chubby Chernobyl and a brush hog. But we also got several strikes on a tung torpedo, pheasant tail and frenchie. Nymph wise we we stuck with size 16 to 18. We didnt get much of any activity on anything smaller than that. And dry flies we stuck with size 14 and 16.” ~Adam
