Discover a new way to “Enjoy Boulder” with FRA and Cured
It seems the amazing weather we are having on the front range is here to stay! Temperatures in the upper 80’s and low temps at night in the 50’s are keeping the rivers cool and clear. The leaves are already starting to change color which means autumn will be here before you know it. Until then, the fish are still biting and we are still guiding.
Blue winged olives will start to become more prevalent with drakes and caddis still lingering about. As the water gets low and clear, be wary: you may have to drop down a size or two in tippet and even cast a few more feet to keep from spooking fish. If you need a few tips or just want to learn new techniques for conquering low clear water, book one of our professional guides.
For up to the date information, check out our latest fishing reports for flows, flies, and fishing.
If you can’t fit a full or half day trip into your schedule, consider a happy hour trip. These 2 hour trips are a great way to unwind after a day at the office.
After your trip, head over to our neighbor River and Woods, Boulder’s newest restaurant.
With locally sourced ingredients and liquor, this is a fantastic place to enjoy a meal and relax after an exciting day on the water.
Hatch Day is coming to FRA Saturday September 9th, 2017 from 7am-5pm. Stay tuned for more details
