Saturday Signature Series – Featuring Thomas Zeigler
March 28, 2015 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm MDT
It’s officially fly tying season!
Learn different skills and patterns every week! Join us on Saturday mornings to see some of the best tyers around spin up their signature patterns. Each week will offer up instruction, patterns and techniques for tyers of all levels. We guarantee that you’ll learn something new at each and every one! We will see you there with fresh coffee and hot patterns for Colorado and beyond.
With over 800 square feet devoted to tying tools and materials, FRA has the largest and most comprehensive tying inventory in the region.
We are lucky to have one of the most accomplished deer hair spinning experts in the Western U.S. right here in Colorado, Thomas Ziegler. Thomas cut his fly fishing teeth on the crystal-clear spring fed streams of the Missouri Ozarks pursuing both wild trout and, in the warmer streams, the wild and native Smallmouth Bass. Several years ago, the appeal of the Rockies proved too great so he and his family moved to the Colorado Front Range where he fishes for, and takes images of, the large diversity of species available – from Cutthroat to Carp. Thomas will be showing off his remarkable deer hair spinning skills just in time for the warmwater fishing to turn on. This is a must see spring event!
