Hello all:

Front Range Anglers has pretty much packed up and moved down to the Denver Merchandise Mart this weekend to take part in the annual Fly Fishing Show. If you've never been, it's an excellent opportunity to see all the latest and greatest in fly fishing gear from many of the top manufacturers. There's an indoor casting pond so you can cast some new rods. In addition, there's a huge roster of fly fishing celebrities who will be at the show to present seminars, teach classes, perform casting and fly tying demonstrations.

Come on down and check it out! Hope to see you,

Bill

P.S. Please note that our store in Boulder will be closed this Saturday and Sunday because of the show.

Fly Fishing for Northern Pike: Fly fishing for Pike in Canada has become increasingly popular. Clive Schaupmeyer who lives in Alberta likes to take his on or near the top using foam flies.

The New Sage TXL Fly Rod: You may think you have everything but you're wrong. Sage has released a new TXL 00-weight that weighs 1 7/8-oz, along with several other models. Even if you're not interested in buying it, you gotta try it.
