It was overcast for the entire day and flows were around 85cfs. Water was stained with brown but had a visibility of about 1.5 feet. Fish were holding in slower pocket water as well as the deep intermediate water close to the faster current.
We utilized a nymphing rig for the majority of the trip and working patterns were pretty limited and once the sun came out things got a lot better. We did not have any strike on top and there was little surface activity from bugs as well. But working nymphs throughout the day was a squirmy(16), frenchie(14-16), and blowtorch(14-16).
