FRA Guide Randy Hanner was out yesterday. Looks like they had a great day on the water.
“Boulder Creek is fishing great. While runoff is only days away, now is a great time to get out and fish. The baetis were thick this afternoon with a few caddis and little black stones flying around as well. We fished a tan chubby and a pheasant tail with the best success. Fish were holding in pockets and along seams in runs next to heavy currents. 4x to the dry and 5x tippet to the nymph is all you need. Dry fly fishing should continue to get better before runoff sets in.” Randy H.
If you can’t get far away this weekend, Boulder Creek should be a very good option for you.
