Report Summary

The water is still high from runoff, but the creek is very clear. We fished from 2-5 and the weather was 95 and sunny. Lots of tubers on the river. Fishing was pretty slow but we were able to get bites on both indicator rigs and dry-dropper rigs, although we only got takes on nymphs. Flies that worked were two-bit hookers (olive size 16), copper johns (size 14), and jigged hares ears (size 16). Fish were found along the banks and edges of big drop pools. Look for slower water, especially big eddies. Drop the nymphs anywhere from 12-20 inches below the dry fly.
