Report Summary

Clear Creek: 226 cfs. Running a little high for this time of year and starting to come down a little. Fish in the canyon took more eggs than bugs. Biggest problem is all the construction. It’s not discoloring the water but it is blocking off many access points. If you can scramble you can get to better water. River bed is very slippery. That usually doesn’t happen until after runoff.
In Idaho Springs park fish are more aggressive and taking a variety of bugs. Also, there is a greater diversity of fish size and type. Would fish much better if the water comes down a little before runoff.
