Howard was the World Fly Fishing Champion in 2019 and is a member of the English International Fly Fishing Team. Howard has competed at the highest levels of fly fishing for many years, and through his experience has been responsible for creating numerous innovative fly patterns, fly rod designs, and angling tactics.

Through his extensive competitive angling experience, Howard has designing a multitude of innovative and cutting edge fly patterns, many of which are now offered commercially through Fulling Mill.
