Pairing the Orvis 101 class with a guided trip is a great way to get you well on your way to being successful on the water.  Call the shop if you have any questions! (303)-494-1375

Soaring Eagle Lodge June Hosted Trip

Join Front Range Anglers at Soaring Eagle Lodge on the San Juan River, June 25th-29th, 2018.  Enjoy 4 nights and 3 guided days on the famous quality waters of the majestic San Juan River. Boasting over 10K Fish per mile for the first 4 miles, the San Juan River is full of fish waiting to eat your flies.  Depending on the rain, any time from late June into mid-July on the San Juan is typically when the “Ant Fall” happens.  When the ants fall, the fish feed without regard to anything else.  This is perhaps the biggest feeding frenzy of the entire year.

The cost of this adventure is only $1595.00.  This includes lodging, dinner when you arrive, 3 full days of guided fly fishing, all meals, and breakfast on your day of departure.  This is a smoking deal as most guides and outfitters charge $500 for a single day of float fishing, regardless of the time of year.

Late June on the San Juan has the absolute best dry fly fishing of the year. Baetis, PMD’s, and caddis hatches explode.  If the ants fall, the fish feed without regard to anything else.  This is perhaps the biggest feeding frenzy of the entire year.
