Bear Creek River Report

8-29-2025

Flows are good, and strating to level out. This means to keep a eye on water temps, as they will warm quickly. Also expect plenty of company this weekend, and a early start will be beneficial to get a spot to park to fish, as well as protect the fish when the water warms.
Primary hatches are Drakes, PMDs, Cranflies, Midges, and Caddis.

...

For dries, use a Crane Fly, Ferminsky Drake, Chubby Chernobyl, AR's PMD, Head Light Sally, Parachute Adams, Roza's Red Butt Caddis, Superman Caddis, and a Hippy Stomper.

...

For subsurface presentation use a Lil Bit, Jujubee Midge, Juju Baetis, Mop Fly, Prairie Doggin' Pupa, Spanish Bullet, Panty Dropper PMD, Tung Poudre Pupa, Arizona Nymph, Iron Sally, and a AR's Perdigon.
