Iliamna River Lodge

Fish at one of the most Storied Lodges in Alaska

Front Range Anglers is thrilled to announce some limited availability angler spots at one of Alaska’s most special Flyin/Flyout fishing lodges. Chase large plentiful aggressive rainbows, silvers and dollies at the famed Iliamna River Lodge on Lake Iliamna Alaska. Bill & Mel Betts operate a world class fishing operation at the Iliamna River Lodge and count most of their clients as personal friends. Usually this lodge has no space during the season as its almost always filled with returning clients, this year is slightly different with the Covid-19 travel difficulties. Alaska is continuing to be open but effective Aug. 11th, all anglers must have a negative PCR test prior to being allowed to board their departing aircraft for Anchorage. This is comforting knowing that everyone boarding the plane has tested negative on a COVID test. The lodge has an easy, no-hassle system of providing a test for you before your trip. No issues there. Fishing is done by jet boats on the local rivers, so you can choose from 3, 4 or 5 days of flyouts in the Dehavilland Beavers airplanes. Enjoy superb cuisine, and fabulous new, clean accommodations in the lodge's new cabins.

In this event, any deposits and final payments will be transferred in full to a rescheduled week. Trip insurance does not cover pandemic related issues, but it may provide coverage if you contract COVID-19 prior to or while on your trip. In addition, a ‘cancel for any reason’ (CFAR) upgrade is available to be added to cover cancellations due to uncovered reasons at 50% reimbursement. For any specific policy or coverage questions, please contact the insurance provider. We recommend purchasing standard trip insurance at minimum. For this reason, we recommend purchasing standard trip insurance at a minimum. We especially encourage travel insurance for float trips due to the medical and evacuation coverage it may provide in case of an emergency. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Cancellation greater than 90 days from the date of trip, all monies refunded less $100 fee if a replacement angler is found. Cancellation within 90 Days, no refunds are provided unless a qualified replacement angler is provided.
