Description

This weekend's objective is to engage in fishing, maximize our time on the water, explore new techniques, gather valuable information, forge new friendships, and catch a variety of species native to the Front Range. One of the days will be dedicated to fishing in the streams of Rocky Mountain National Park, targeting trout and potentially the cherished cutthroat. On the following day, participants will have the chance to fish in ponds known for their excellent trout and warmwater species. This course is designed for individuals aged 18 and older, and we welcome participants of all experience levels to join us for this exciting weekend. We will provide ample gear for those who may not have their own. Each day will consist of eight hours on the water, with lunch included. Additionally, upon registration, you will receive a complimentary half dozen flies to use throughout the weekend!

On the first day, the group will venture to Rocky Mountain National Park, exploring various fishing spots on the park's eastern side. Potential locations include the Big Thompson, Glacier Creek, and Fall River. You may even have the opportunity to achieve the Rocky Mountain Grand Slam.

On the second day, participants will fish in private warmwater ponds that will challenge your skills and strength as you aim to catch large bass, panfish, and the occasional trout. This time of year promises exceptional topwater action, and the thrilling bites are sure to bring joy.

Our guides will accompany you throughout the weekend, offering insights into new techniques, skills, and flies, ensuring a fun and educational experience in this wonderful sport.

Please note that the locations and itinerary for each day may be adjusted based on weather and water conditions.
