This class is designed for anglers who already understand the fundamentals and want to refine their casting, reading water, and presentation skills. You’ll get personal coaching in a small group setting, with plenty of time to practice advanced techniques on the water. By the end of the class, you’ll feel more confident in a variety of situations and be ready to fish independently with precision.
What You Will Learn
• Advanced casting techniques for accuracy and distance
• Reading the water: finding seams, pockets, and holding areas
• Mending and line control to improve drift and presentation
• Fly selection and strategy for different conditions
• Essential rigs for Colorado waters
• Techniques for different species and seasonal patterns
• Hands-on coaching to troubleshoot your technique in real time
Gear Needed:
Bring your own rod, reel, and flies if possible. If not, we have gear available to use. You will receive complementary flies and leader for your class.

Small, focused groups allow for personalized instruction and maximum practice time on the water
Price: $175 per person
This class builds on the basics. You don’t need to have completed our Intro To Fly Fishing to join, but having some fly fishing experience will help you get the most out of this session. You can also book a guided trip afterward to apply these skills in a full-day fishing experience.
