The fire pit is crackling, a cocktail is in your hand, and there's still enough light to throw a few casts at the pond. That's evening at North Fork Crossing.

This Orvis-endorsed lodge sits right on the North Fork of the Blackfoot River, with the legendary main stem a short float away. Days are spent floating and wading for browns, rainbows and westslope cutthroat on big rivers, small streams, tributaries and private spring creeks. Five trout-filled ponds on the property cover the early mornings and late evenings. With room for only 16 guests, it never feels crowded. At night you settle into a luxury safari-style tent with wooden floors, a custom feather bed, heat and electricity.

Step out of your tent and the North Fork of the Blackfoot is right there. The main stem, one of Montana's most storied rivers, is a short float downstream. Between big-river floats, small-stream wading and private spring creeks, you can fish a different kind of water every day.

Reservation Policy

  • At booking: 50% deposit due and payable
  • 90 days before trip: Remainder plus VAT and taxes due

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation 90+ days out: Full refund less $100 fee (if replacement found)
  • Cancellation within 90 days: No refund unless a qualified replacement is provided
  • No refunds for weather, acts of God, or airline/travel issues

 FRA recommends Medical Evacuation Insurance (Global Rescue recommended) and HIGHLY recommends Trip Cancellation/Interruption Insurance.
