Description
This weekend is all about fishing, soaking up the sun on the water, learning new techniques, making new friends, and catching a variety of species native to the Front Range. One day will be dedicated to exploring the streams of Rocky Mountain National Park, where you'll have the chance to reel in trout, including the sought-after cutthroat. On the second day, you'll be casting your line in ponds known for their excellent trout and warmwater fishing.
This course is open to anyone aged 18 and older, and all skill levels are encouraged to join this incredible weekend adventure. Don’t worry if you don’t have your own gear; we’ll provide everything you need. Each day, you’ll enjoy eight hours on the water, with lunch included, and as a bonus, you’ll receive a half dozen flies to use throughout the weekend!
On the first day, the group will venture to Rocky Mountain National Park, fishing in various spots on the park's East side, including the Big Thompson, Glacier Creek, and Fall River. You might even have the opportunity to achieve the coveted Rocky Mountain Grand Slam!
On day two, you’ll be fishing in private warmwater ponds that will challenge your skills as you aim to catch big bass, panfish, and the occasional trout. This time of year promises exciting topwater action, and the thrilling bites will surely bring a smile to your face.
Our expert guides will be with you every step of the way, teaching you new techniques, sharing tips on flies, and ensuring you have a memorable and educational experience in this wonderful sport.
